Strong Yoga for Mature Bodies

This class is designed for folks over 50, who though still active, healthy and strong, may find a flow class hard on the knees, or would like a slower-paced class where you can focus on alignment and correcting habits you have developed. The class is strongly influenced by the Iyengar Yoga method, and includes other movement modalities that Jo has incorporated into her more than 40 years teaching experience. You will learn to identify areas of congestion in your own individual muscular-skeletal system, and gain ways to create space and freedom in your body, in a friendly and supportive environment
